TETFund and Chief of Defence Staff Hold Strategic Meeting for National Security Collaboration
TETFund, yesterday 16th October 2024 hosted the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Chris G. Musa, for a strategic high-level engagement today, focusing on strengthening collaboration between the military and the Fund. The discussion centered on promoting national security and advancing educational development in Nigeria, with both parties recognizing the mutual benefits of such a partnership.
Strengthening National Security Through Collaboration
Arc. Sonny Echono, Executive Secretary of TETFund, commended the military’s dedication to safeguarding Nigeria’s democracy. He stressed the importance of collaboration between government agencies in achieving national objectives. “We are grateful for the Defence leadership’s commitment to national security,” said Echono, adding that TETFund is keen on partnerships that enhance educational infrastructure and research.

Gen. Musa praised TETFund for its contributions to Nigeria’s educational sector, stressing that education and security are pillars of national development. “A secure nation is built on the foundation of a well-educated citizenry,” Musa said.
