Cross River State Governor, Senator Bassey Otu, recently met with Arc. Sonny Echono, Executive Secretary of TETFund, at the organization’s headquarters in Abuja for strategic collaboration that aim to strengthen educational infrastructure and foster sustainable development in Cross River State.

Governor Otu was warmly received by the Executive Secretary of TETFund, who commended the governor’s dedication to advancing educational growth in Cross River State. Echono emphasized the shared vision between Cross River and TETFund, spotlighting the importance of partnerships in addressing critical needs in Nigeria’s educational sector.
During the meeting, Governor Otu reaffirmed his commitment to enhancing the quality of education, infrastructure, and research across his state. He noted that this collaboration would increase access to resources and foster vocational and technical skills essential for Nigeria’s tertiary institutions.
According to Governor Otu, “with TETFund’s support, we envision transformative projects that will benefit not just the tertiary institutions but every community in Cross River,” Governor Otu stated.
