Introduction
The Ondo 2024 Governorship Election has taken a decisive turn as the incumbent governor and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Lucky Aiyedatiwa, emerges as the clear frontrunner. With results from 15 out of the 18 local government areas (LGAs) announced, Aiyedatiwa maintains a commanding lead, leaving his closest rival, Agboola Ajayi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), trailing by over 200,000 votes.
