The Igede Youth Council (IYC) has strongly refuted recent claims by Mr. Emmanuel Eche’Ofun John, spokesperson for the Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District. The council dismissed the assertion that construction work is ongoing on the Otukpo-Oju road as a constituency project, labeling it as misleading and baseless.

The vibrant town of Obi in Benue State became the epicenter of celebration and cultural pride on December 21, 2024, as Chief Patrick Ojechema Idoko was conferred with the prestigious title of ‘Achijuka Ny’ Obi’, meaning “an undisputed person”.
