An insider has revealed the real reason behind the suspension of Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice and Public Order, Barr. Fidelis Mnyim, exposing Governor Hyacinth Alia’s desperate and insincere leadership. While the governor publicly linked Mnyim’s suspension to the law established by EFCC, sources close to the Governor suggest the suspension was driven by a failed political strategy and deep-rooted distrust within the administration.
The true trigger for Mnyim’s suspension was the court ruling that struck out a case aimed at unseating APC State Chairman Austin Agada. Mnyim had assured the governor of a “perfected arrangement” to tamper with official Court process documents. This strategy, heavily funded by the state government, was supposed to guarantee victory but spectacularly backfired when the court declined and said its merit was fundamental because the judges and other copies presented proved otherwise. The failure enraged the governor, leading to Mnyim’s downfall.
Governor Alia’s inner circle, including Livinus Tsar from Konshisha, Chief of Staff to the governor, Hon. Paul Biam, and Moses Ternenger, accused Mnyim of sabotage following the legal loss. The trio, who have gained a reputation for political mischief, and misdirecting the administration, blaming Mnyim for not delivering on promises and exposing their larger schemes. “These people have turned the administration into a transactional government, abandoning projects and manipulating every move to suit their interests,” one insider lamented.
Moses Ternenger, known for his bold claims of judicial influence, was particularly vocal in his criticism of Mnyim. He, along with Paul Biam and Livinus Tsar, accused Mnyim of derailing their plan and costing the administration a win they had considered a sure thing.
