The Apa Legacy and Sustainability Scholarship Project is set to be unveiled on the 10th of this month at 1:00 pm, at the residence of Dr. David Olofu, GRA, Otukpo.
Founded by Hon. David Olofu, former Benue State Commissioner for Finance and Economic Planning and current Technical Adviser to the Governors Forum, this scholarship scheme aims to support underprivileged undergraduates from the nine local government areas of the Benue South Senatorial District.
According to Hon. Owoicho Oyi, Secretary of the College of Education, Oju, the unveiling program will be chaired by Sir Bernard Omaiye, former Commissioner for Education. The guest speaker will be Dr. Godwin Oiwona, former Commissioner for Water Resources and Environment.
His Royal Majesty, Dr. John Odogbo Elaigwu Obagaji, the Ochidoma, will serve as the royal father of the day, while Professor David Salifu of Federal University of Wukari will act as the coordinating chairman of the scholarship project.
This invitation-to the event will be exclusive to stakeholders and board members and promises to be a remarkable occasion.
